Suspected poachers hiding in a wood outside a Notts village were busted with the help of a drone’s thermal camera.
The new tech allowed police to find and track the alleged deer poachers near Beckingham in Bassetlaw on Friday night.
Lincolnshire police officers with police dogs were guided in to the copse at the edge of a field and found them hiding in a car after circling the edge.
Four people are now in custody.
The small warm dot that can also be seen in the footage in the woods is believed to be a – presumably rather frightened – hedgehog.
