  1. Check the props

    Another big cause for drone crashes is a compass that is incorrectly-tuned or detuned. They generally get tuned because of the radio frequency or magnetic source. Moreover, you should not fly the drone in an area where there is electromagnetic interference like near the towers of cell phones and power lines.

At the time of flying backward, carefully scan the area and take help of a spotter whenever you can.

  8. Do not avoid the warning messages

These features include sensors of obstacle avoidance, return to home, etc. But it is necessary for you to attentively read the warning messages that appear on the app which you use for controlling the drone.

These messages include a weak signal of GPS, weak connection of the remote controller, and low battery messages. The drone manufacturers set these warning features in the drone app so that the pilot can fly the drone as safely as possible.
